Founding Partner
I started Calverton Growth Partners with a simple idea: to partner with family-owned businesses in Northeast Ohio in need of transition. When I moved to Ohio from Kansas City, I was amazed by the number of incredible companies here that had been in the same family for decades. Seeing their impact on the community up close—and recognizing the lack of succession plan in many of them—made me want to dedicate my career to helping those kinds of businesses continue to grow.
My path has taken me from investing to operating and consulting. I began as an investor but had the itch to be more involved operationally, so I joined McKinsey and Kickpoint, where I worked inside 15+ companies throughout the Midwest. Many of these companies had been around for 50+ years but stagnated; my team and I were able to refine the strategy and operations and drive growth. That mix of experiences taught me not only how to evaluate what makes a business strong, but also how to roll up my sleeves and work alongside owners and teams to make it even better.
Calverton Growth Partners is really just an extension of who I am—rooted in Midwest grit, family values, and a respect for the people who built their businesses from the ground up. My commitment is to be a steady, long-term partner for owners who want to see their companies thrive for decades to come. I plan to be the day-day operator and bring very focused, hands-on leadership.
I live on the east side of Cleveland with my wife and two young daughters. Often suprising to some, but we truly love Cleveland and firmly planted our roots here for the long haul.
